Gavin Campbell is president of acute therapies. As such, Campbell leads the global portfolio strategy and management for the continuous renal replacement therapy and organ support business.
Previously, Campbell was the senior vice president of the renal business unit and senior vice president of strategy and business development. He joined Baxter in 2008 and has held several marketing, general management and strategy roles of increasing responsibility in the company’s oncology, pharmaceuticals and kidney businesses.
Campbell began his career as an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company in the healthcare payor and provider practice.
Campbell serves on the Board of Directors for the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois, which supports education and access to care for those living with kidney disease.
He received his bachelor's degree in government from Dartmouth College and a master’s degree in business administration from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
